  • Enter your associated email address
  • You'll receive an email with reset instructions

For Managers & Administrators (Balto Cloud)

  • Access Balto Cloud through your web browser
  • Log in with your email address and password

For Agents (Desktop Application)

  • Open the Balto desktop application
  • Enter your email address and your organization's desktop key
  • Your desktop key is available from your manager or Balto administrator

Playbook selection is driven by metadata from your phone system, such as queue names, skill groups, or call direction (inbound vs. outbound). If the wrong playbook is appearing, it typically means there's a mismatch in how calls are being routed or mapped.

This is most commonly caused by:

  • User ID or email mismatches between your phone system and Balto configuration
  • Balto not being enabled for specific call types or campaigns

  • Include the affected user's details and examples of calls where Balto didn't launch

Balto needs access to your microphone and speaker to function properly. If you see an audio alert:

  1. Open App Settings (gear icon in Balto)
  2. Check that the correct microphone is selected
  3. Check that the correct output device is selected

Look for your headset or computer brand name in the device list — that's typically the correct selection.

Visit Balto's status page to check real-time system status and view past incidents. Balto maintains 99.5%+ uptime.

You can subscribe to the status page for real-time updates on system performance and any ongoing incidents.

Windows:

  • Open Sound Settings and set your headset microphone as the default communication device

Mac:

  • Go to System Settings > Sound > Input tab and select your headset's microphone
